Hello and welcome to my blog! Let me introduce myself. My name is Lindsey Lawrence and I am an Army wife, avid design, fashion, wine and food enthusiast. I love antiquing and anything Anthropologie. My husband and I live in upstate New York with our beagle Huck and kitty Mimi. I grew up an Air Force brat and am now an Army wife so with the constant moving around redecorating and re-purposing have been a constant in my life. I spray painted my first dresser when I was 13 years old and continue to relish bringing new life to something old and unwanted.


If there is one thing growing up in and now marrying into the military life has taught me about myself is that I draw inspiration and strength from my surroundings. Just passing a piece of furniture that was handed down to me from my parents or seeing something I created or went through a lot to get (I once chased curtains across 2 states) can bring a smile to my face and change my whole mood. I am a firm believer that a beautiful, meaningful and inspiring environment will make a positive impact on your life. I am also a believer that you don't need to break the bank to achieve that! 

How. you ask? Its all about balance. If you can balance out the guilt with some creative thriftiness you can achieve harmony in your home too! My goal here is to share with you my love of beautiful things and some tips on how to take the guilt out of finding treasures!
